French Commercial Certification

Purpose of certification ：A Chinese notarial instrument bas been affixed with the seal of the French Embassy in China in order that it may be recognized by French authorities without doubt as to the authenticity of the signature or seal on the document affecting its legal effect in France.

Specific process of French commercial certification agency:
1. Notarization：apply for document certification at the CCPIT;
2.Consultation：Call 400-657-0220 to consult on matters needing specific attention and information on French certifications, and delivery of the certification information to the center.
3.Submission：The center will inform the applicant to pay the fees after the initial examination. After receiving the materials and fees, the center will arrange delivery to the designated agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within one working day.
4.Acceptance：These documents are typically accepted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy in China.
5.Completion：Upon completion of the certification, the applicant will be initially notified, and the French certification documents will be returned according to the previously specified method.
Fees charged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its designated agencies: 300 yuan per copy (this fee is subject to the actual amount, with a refund for any over-payment or a required supplemental payment for any deficiency)

Business documents include:Agency contract, power of attorney, letter of authorization, company name change, invoice, customs declaration, business certificate, packing list, patent certificate, certificate of origin, inspection and quarantine certificate, commodity inspection certificate, price list, business contract, employment certificate, export registration form, dispatch letter, business license, etc.
All Chinese commercial documents require certification by the embassy.

Notes for French business certification:
1. Notarization or certification by CCPIT is required.
2. A notarial certificate of birth shall be affixed with the photo of the applicant, and it shall be  stamped.
3. All parties shall provide copies of their identity documents.
Other matters necessitating attention:
1. The center is only a translation agency designated by the French Embassy in China. It only serves as an agency of convenience for applicants who wish to deliver their certification documents to Beijing.
2. The acceptance time of the certification documents shall be subject to the actual handling by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy. Our unit is solely responsible for sending and receiving certification materials.
3. If the notarized documents do not meet the requirements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy, the applicant may voluntarily re-apply for the notarial certificate. An additional field fee of 200 yuan must be paid by the applicant when the documents are then accepted.

French Civil Certification

The French civil certification process is based on the French commercial certification process.
Civil documents include:Graduation certificate, marriage certificate, unmarried certificate, passport, health certificate, occupation certificate, identity card, personal patent, household registration certificate, driver’s license, divorce certificate, educational certificate, personal trust, non-criminal notarization, death certificate, transcript, birth certificate, kinship certificate, marital status certificate, ,etc.
Personal documents certified by the embassy, collectively referred to as civil document certification.
